REALTORS® Have a Heart Collects 45+ Containers of Professional Attire for Community Partners
Hampton Roads, Va. — In a collaborative effort to support individuals across the community, REALTORS® and affiliates of the Hampton Roads REALTORS® Association, through their volunteer group, REALTORS® Have a Heart, kicked off 2026 with a Business Attire Drive.
The drive collected more than 45 containers of new and gently used professional clothing, shoes, and accessories. Donations will benefit four local organizations:
- Chesapeake Public Schools Educational Foundation's Peake Outfitters, which provides educators with free professional attire.
- Norfolk Public Schools’ Office of Early Learning and Title I will distribute clothing to parents of children participating in the McKinney-Vento Program, which supports students experiencing homelessness.
- Cypress Landing Veterans Community will share items with their resident veterans.
- Salvation Army’s H.O.P.E. Village will provide clothing to women in its residential housing program.
These contributions will help individuals prepare for job interviews and enter the workforce with confidence by adding professional pieces to their wardrobes.
